Education for Democratic Citizenship
Education for democratic citizenship and human rights (EDC/HRE) aims to give people the knowledge, understanding, skills, and attitudes that will help them to play an effective role in their community – be it at home, in school, in the society or in politics. It shows students, teachers, school principals and parents how to become informed about their rights, responsibilities, and duties and it makes them realise that they can have an impact and make a difference.
